The Rotherham Advertiser and the Council’s RIDO team are excited to announce the 2026 Apprenticeship of the Year Awards on 9 July 2026, taking place at the Aesseal New York Stadium. These awards provide a valuable opportunity to acknowledge the accomplishments of your outstanding apprentices and supported interns and highlight the transformative power of apprenticeships/internships.
To be eligible, nominated candidates must either live, work, or undergo their apprenticeship training in Rotherham. They can be currently completing their apprenticeship or have completed it within the past two years. There is no age limit for nominations and they can alternatively self-nominate.

Please submit your completed nomination form to kim.ollivent@iconicmediagroup.co.uk by the closing date of 18 May, 2026, to enter your apprentice/intern into this year’s awards.
There are also a limited number of sponsorship opportunities available for those who would like to become more involved with the awards through branding and engagement.
