Bodycote open new heat treatment facility in Rotherham

Bodycote, the world’s largest provider of heat treatment and specialist thermal processing services, have announced the opening of a new 11,000 sq ft facility at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP), Rotherham.

With more than 180 accredited facilities in 23 countries, Bodycote improves the properties of metals and alloys, extending the life of vital components for a wide range of industries, including aerospace, defence, automotive, power generation, oil & gas, construction, medical and transportation.
 
Simon Blantern, Vice President of Sales Europe for Bodycote’s Aerospace, Defence & Energy heat treatment division, said: “This investment demonstrates Bodycote’s continuing commitment to align resources to serve both the aerospace and power generation markets.”
 
The new facility, fully operational in 2018, will offer a number of heat treatment processes.
