LEAF (Local Employment Advisory Forum) 2026

LEAF, Rotherham’s Annual Jobs and Careers Fair is now in its 14th year and offers a fantastic opportunity for students, jobseekers, and career changers to explore vacancies, apprenticeships, and career pathways across Rotherham.

Exhibitor bookings are now open for the LEAF event 2026!

This year’s event will be held on Wednesday 4 November 2026 from 9am to 2pm, in the Great Hall at Magna Science Adventure Centre.

With up to 60 exhibitors and a range of interactive workshops, visitors can:

  • Speak directly with employers about current and upcoming vacancies
  • Learn about volunteering opportunities
  • Explore apprenticeships and career routes with local businesses

Exhibitors – If you would like to exhibit at LEAF26, please email LEAF@rotherham.gov.uk for further details. It is free for businesses to exhibit, there is a small charge of £250 for training providers/recruitment agencies. Also, ask about our great opportunities for sponsorship or patronage.

Visitors – There is no need to register just visit on the day anytime between 9.00am – 2.00pm. Admission is free.

The range of exhibitors this year includes:

RNN are Patrons! – RNN Group provides courses and apprenticeships for both school leavers and adults, including higher education at University Centre Rotherham. They specialise in career-focused courses, giving students hands-on experience to develop the crucial skills needed for employment.

Pathways to Work Rotherham are Patrons! – Pathways to Work is a tailored employment and health programme designed to support residents who are unemployed or economically inactive. Managed in South Yorkshire by the Mayoral Combined Authority and delivered in Rotherham by the local authority and partners, it provides one-to-one coaching, training, and personalised support to help individuals overcome barriers such as health conditions or complex needs. Its aim is to help people move closer to work, enter employment, return to work, and sustain meaningful careers.

South Yorkshire Housing Association are Sponsors! – South Yorkshire Housing Association delivers the Connect to Work and WorkWell programmes in Rotherham, offering tailored support to help people with health conditions start, stay in, or return to work.

Realise are Sponsors! – Realise is a national training provider helping individuals aged 16+ gain the skills, qualifications and confidence to progress in work, change careers or take their next step in education. Their range of free and funded courses includes Teaching Assistant programmes, designed to help learners secure employment and advance their careers.
